Dana Hork is the CEO of Change for Change, the organization she founded in 1999 at the University of Pennsylvania. For her work on Change for Change, Dana has been featured in the Associated Press, USA Today, and the Minneapolis Star Tribune, among other publications. In 2003, Dana was profiled by Reader's Digest as one of the magazine's "Everyday Heroes" and in 2008, she was featured in Ingrid Newkirk's book One Can Make a Difference.
Dana spent eight years at J.P. Morgan in New York City, most recently as Vice President on the fixed income sales and trading desk in the Private Banking division. Dana was also the firmwide Program Chair of J.P. Morgan's foreign policy speaker series.
Dana is a member of the Central Park Conservancy's Junior Advisory Committee and Greensward Circle and serves as a John C. Whitehead Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association. In 2005, Dana was recognized as a Regional Finalist for the White House Fellows Program.
Dana is currently pursuing her MBA at Harvard Business School. She holds an MPA from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and earned a BA with a focus in both Economics and in Communication, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. During her time at Penn, Dana served as President of the undergraduate student body and was named to USA Today's All-USA College Academic First Team, selected by the publication as one of the nation’s top 20 undergraduates. She was also awarded the Althea K. Hottel Award, Penn's oldest and highest award given to a female member of the graduating class.
Dana is originally from Hopkins, Minnesota and currently resides in New York City and Boston. |
