The mission of Refuge des Jeunes de Montreal is to provide aid to young men in difficult situations aged between 17-24 years old, and to provide better living conditions. The organization houses up to 45 individuals per night, and reaches out to 641 individuals per year - catering to both immediate needs (beds and food) and long term provision of social services (access to the labor market).
Highlights
- Collected change through a Krispy Kreme / Starbucks fundraiser, and a fraternity social event.
- Lined the front driveway of McGill University (247 meters) with donated coins - an event titled "250m of Coin," collecting $1146 for Refuge des Jeunes de Montreal.
