Change for Change® is a charitable giving organization that empowers students and young professionals in local communities to address global issues through philanthropy. Change for Change strives to identify tools and best practices in fundraising, and enable local groups to replicate these models to affect local change. Past Charities

The Listening Ear

The Listening Ear provides free and confidential crisis consulting services for telephone and walk-in clients. They help with issues such as depression, suicide, loneliness, sexual assault, grief, and many others. Referrals for services throughout the Lansing area are also made. Their all-volunteer staff members receive more than sixty hours of training before taking calls, and volunteers also fill the director and coordinator positions. The Listening Ear Crisis Intervention Center has been open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year since July 15, 1969.

Advent House

For the last nineteen years, Advent House Ministries has brought together people of many faiths to create a community of hope for those who struggle with poverty and homelessness in the Lansing area. Through our programs, we provide respite from life’s struggles and create opportunities for children and adults to fulfill their potential.
