Change for Change® is a charitable giving organization that empowers students and young professionals in local communities to address global issues through philanthropy. Change for Change strives to identify tools and best practices in fundraising, and enable local groups to replicate these models to affect local change. Chapter History

While Amherst College is a small liberal arts institution with just 1650 students, the hearts of its students are anything but small.

Through a commitment to revitalizing Hampshire County and with the support of dedicated and enthusiastic students, Change for Change Amherst has shown students the importance of philanthropic generosity. We are honored and pleased to have begun a tradition at Amherst that we feel will grow into something that all places of higher education will hopefully adopt. Amherst College may seem rather tiny in size, but every student now knows how small change can lead to big changes.

Amherst was Change for Change's second campus chapter, and year after year continues to hold strong collections.
