UMD Closes out 2006-07 Campaign with Fundraising, Lectures

Under the leadership of Nazneen Uddin, UMD was back in 2006-07!

Change for Change at UMD raised funds for CATCH, a charity founded by former Detroit Tiger's manager Sparky Anderson that contributes to the improvement of life for pediatric patients at Children's Hospital of Michigan and Henry Ford Hospital.

To compliment their fundraising campaign, Change for Change organized a discussion titled "Troubled Detroit." The event was sponsored by the Student Organization Advisory Committee, Amnesty International, the Professional Health Society and the Bioethics Society, and raised awareness for important needs in the local Detroit community.
