Change for Change NYC Hosts Third Annual Date Auction

In order to involve NYC young professionals in charitable giving, Change for Change NYC sponsors events throughout the year to promote philanthropic involvement. At each event we benefit a notable youth-focused charity in the New York City-area, and we selected Change for Kids as this year’s beneficiary. Thank you so much for making this year's Date Auction another huge success!!!

Our third annual event took place on Thursday, May 15th at 1 Oak Lounge.  Thirteen fantastic prizes were auctioned off to raise funds for Change for Kids, a nonprofit organization that gives children in under-resourced public elementary schools access to the arts, sciences and the humanities.  In total, Change for Change donated $20,000 to Change for Kids.  View the invitation here.

Stay tuned for details on upcoming events.

Through large event-based fundraisers, Change for Change seeks to promote charitable giving among young professionals while educating New Yorkers on important causes in the local community. The group has raised over $55,000 for youth-focused NYC charities across its first four events and raised $20,000 to launch the Changemakers Grant Program.  Read more about our past events here.
